In Curaçao wollen wir unseren Aufenthalt mit einer Fahrradtour (WIL20V) beginnen. Diese soll und durch Willemstad führen, vorbei an den schwimmenden Märkten, am Wilhelminapark und dem Fort Amsterdam bis hinein in die Vororte. Nach einer Badepause in der Pirate Bay würde es zurück zum Schiff gehen. Diese Tour können wir aber erst an Bord buchen, weil dafür das passende Fahrrad (Rahmengröße) für uns ausgesucht werden und unser Fitnesslevel eingeschätzt muss. Zeitlich muss dieser Ausflug aber auch zum folgenden passen.
Für unseren Nachmittag haben wir eine Tour zu Fuß durch Curaçao und in die Hato-Grotten (WIL03N) geplant. Dabei besuchen unter anderem natürlich auch eine kleine Likörfabrik umfassen.
Eine Bootsfahrt im Sonnenuntergang (WIL27A) soll der letzte Ausflug dieses Tages werden. Von einem Katamaran aus haben wir einen Blcik auf historische Gebäude und Strände von Willemstad.
Sonnenuntergang ist gegen 18:30, dank der Zeitzonendifferenz von einer Stunde schaffen wir es also pünktlich zum Kickoff des Super Bowl XLIX. Beginn des Spiels ist 18:30 EST (UTC-5).

In Curaçao we want to start with a bike tour (WIL20V). We shell ride through Willemstad, along the swimming markets, the Park Wilhelmina and the Fort Amsterdam up into the suburbs. After a swimming break we ride back to the ship. We can book this tour only after boarding the ship, since fitting bikes (frame size) have to be found and our level of fitness has to be determined. But this trip has to fit into our schedule for the rest of the day.
In the afternoon we are going on a walking tour through Curaçao and to the Hato grottos (WIL03N). Among other things we are going to visit a small liquor factory.
A ride by boat in the sunset (WIL27A) will be the last trip of the day. From a catamaran we will have a view showing historical buildings and beaches of Willemstad.
Sunset will be around 18:30 AST, so thanks to the time difference of one hour we are going to be on time for the Super Bowl kickoff. The game starts at 18:30 EST (UTC-5).
